Our Team

Ricky Balaban is Eagle's Chief Financial Officer, having joined the firm in 2026. Prior to Eagle, he was CFO, COO, and CCO at Arène Capital Management. Before that, he was a founding partner of Sahana Capital, a long-only equity hedge fund that spun out of 3G Capital in early 2020, where he served as CFO, COO, and CCO. Before co-founding Sahana, he spent eight years at 3G Capital in a variety of roles across fund accounting, operations, and trade execution. He began his career as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Ricky holds a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife Ashley are raising three kids in Armonk, NY, and actively fundraise for the Columbia University Babies Heart Fund, which supports research and clinical care for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.
